It's taken awhile, but I've transferred most of my bank dealings to a local credit union and have closed out one of two big bank accounts. Still working on moving everything over to the credit union.

We had a good, though comical, TDay celebration.

Our turkey wasn't ready on time. It was at least two hours late. But Mr F felt the need to start serving the rest of the feast ahead of time, so we literally had multiple courses instead of one big feast all at once. The acorn squash came first, which worked well. Working since the last week of April on the 2010 Census has been nothing less than a blast. Meeting all kinds of people. How can that not be fun? Even meeting the curmudgeons. I was able to convince a couple of them to take the survey, though the few I met were quite adament against taking it.

Life in Albuquerque has been pretty good these past seven months.

Mr F and I have gotten involved with several groups. We've started to make friends, or at least meet really neat people.

When my dad was in college, he had the opportunity to eat cream of mushroom soup for the first time ever. Out of a can.

A couple of days ago, I finally went to get my New Mexico Driver's License.
